There are lots of ways to display things in your house despite size limitations.  Displaying collections is an excellent way to decorate your home.  For me it is all about Collecting Frogs – a Fun Hobby for All Ages and the trick is figuring out how to organize your collections so you can exhibit them creatively, which I do in a number of ways and what is listed below will help describe what can be done.  There are ways to show your collections without turning your apartment into a disaster area.
Step 1 is easy.  Put it into your schedule one day to sort though your collections.  Make a thorough search of everything.  Find an open space in your room to put your collection on the floor in.  It is useful to visualize your collection.  It is also helpful to make a list of what you have.  You will find many uses for a record of your collection.  If you know what you have, you will not collect it again.  It might show that you have too much stuff.  By keeping a record, some of your collectibles are less likely to be forgotten about in some corner of the closet.  These are just some of the things that keeping a list will enhance your collection.
As you go through your stuff, ask yourself a few questions.  Does everything really belong in your collection?`  Should something be out so I can look at it constantly?Is there one item that is more important for me to see than another?  Do I have a favorite thing?  Collectibles are more than about their look, they are about the tales that go with them.  A collection needs to be fun and something that is important for you.  Keeping and maintaining a collection is not another form of work.
The second thing is just as easy.  Take a look around your home and figure out how much room you have and which rooms would be good for your collectibles.  There is no right or wrong location for the collectibles that you have.  Don’t limit yourself to keeping everything at eye level, there is a lot more space out there. For instance, you might decide to group your artwork and photographs on a living room wall, or you might have gone to www.myfrogcollection.com and added items that you can display in a shadow box or cabinet.  You can display the collectibles in numerous fashions and should consider your options.  It is possible to combine some collectibles to show off in a display together when they fit. 
The third thing to consider is how to show off your stuff.  There are plenty of websites that show various display ideas for people who want to find them.  So if you’re totally stuck and can’t figure out how to display your collections, use the internet, and you’ll find creative ways to display Pez dispensers, jewelry, action figures, collectible frogs  wine memorabilia, and more.  Living in a small space doesn’t mean you have to give up prized collections.  You can incorporate your collectibles into the design of your house.  When a person takes the time to do it right, the collectibles will add a great touch to the design of their home. 
When someone had trouble keeping their stuff under control they might have to utilize stuff that is already available in their rooms.  Some people show off their collections by putting them on a table behind their sofa in their living room. 
Another example of a multipurpose display is a coffee table with some shelving in it.  By being so available, many people will be able to check out your stuff.  You can let many people enjoy things in this way.  The key is to be creative with your displays.  Another key to remember is the need to limit your displays.  It is okay to store parts of your collections away for some of the time.  Doing this will give you more excuses to check out what is in your collection and to play with it as you display it.
